A REAL-TIME IDENTIFICATION METHOD ON MOTION AND OUT-OF-FOCUS BLUR FORA VIDEO CAMERA

A new identification method of motion and out-of-focus blur is propose d which can be implemented into a simple hardware. In the blur state o f an image, this method can distinguish whether it is caused by a moti on of the object or by the out-of-focus state of the image. Furthermor e, in the case of motion blur, it can identify the cause of the blur t hat is either camera panning or the motion of object. The whole proces s can be finished in each field.
