Abstract
Submillimeter-wave generation through optical difference frequency mix ing technique in lithium niobate (LiNbO3) is discussed. Theoretical as pects as applicable in this connection are briefly considered. The pos sibility of utilizing frequencies within the spectral spread of solid state laser output for mixing purposes is reported.
