Abstract
A two-beam coupled photorefractive novelty filter is presented for rea l-time measurement of displacement components. In the optical configur ation, the BaTiO3 crystal is oriented such that the spatial phase shif t between the dynamic grating and the interference pattern is +pi/2. T ime evolution of fringe patterns is analyzed. The technique is applied to speckle photography for real-time measurements of displacement com ponents. Experimental results are given.
