ROLE OF CELL-ADHESION IN THE OCCURRENCE O F HEPATIC ABNORMALITY

The paper gives a review of the data available in the literature and a n analysis of the authors' own data of the ultrastructural studies of the intercellular contacts of hepatocytes and epitheliocytes in some p athological states. It also shows an important role of the site of an element compound wherein the major molecular mechanisms of tissue home ostatic regulation display and discusses the contribution of macromole cular adhesive factors such as effector molecules capable of suppressi ng the development of a pathological process.
