Abstract
Corrections on the order of alphaalpha(s) to the mass of the W boson a nd to the coupling constants of leptonic Z decays are considered in th e framework of a recently proposed parametrization of electroweak obse rvables. The contributions of virtual gluons to electroweak quark loop s are expressed as corrections to the functions V(m), V(A), and V(R), which depend on the masses of the top quark and of the Higgs boson.
