Abstract
Zeolite Beta has been synthesized, in 24 h at 170-degrees-C, from an e xtremely dense system in which the weight ratio of solid (sodium alumi nate and SiO2) to liquid (tetraethylammonium hydroxide and H2O) mixtur es is 1 : 1.8; the product has comparable catalytic properties to thos e samples prepared by previous methods.
