We have developed a passive pressure sensor intended primarily for int
raocular pressure measurements. We have earlier reported the basic sen
sor and system design concepts, and initial experimental results. In t
his paper we present a method to improve the Q value of the sensor ele
ment. The first experimental results in vivo are also reported. The ex
ternal detector works adequately for sensor elements with a Q value ab
ove 100. The system has been tested in vitro in gas and liquid, where
a sensitivity of 4 mV/mmHg was reached.
