Abstract
The drinking patterns and level of alcohol knowledge in two samples of college students who visited Daytona Beach, Florida during their spri ng breaks in 1981 and 1991 (N = 3368) were compared. Chi Square and t- test analyses showed that there were significant reductions between 19 81 and 1991 in the number of students who were drinkers and the amount they consumed. Significant increases in alcohol knowledge were also f ound.
