Ta. Shepherd et al., D-AMINO ACIDS AS NOVEL P-2 P-3 LIGANDS FOR INHIBITORS OF HIV-1 PROTEASE/, Bioorganic & medicinal chemistry letters, 4(11), 1994, pp. 1391-1396
Noncoded D-amino acids have been synthesized which effectively replace
the P2/P3 ligands of the HIV-1 protease inhibitor LY289612. Several a
nalogues are shown to have potent enzyme inhibitory and antiviral acti
vities.
