Abstract
Orthotopic liver transplantation in patients with fulminant hepatic fa ilure secondary to Lepiota helveola poisoning has not, to our knowledg e, been reported. Our recent experience with liver transplantation in a 27-year-old woman with acute hepatic failure secondary to this poiso ning is described. The indications for orthotopic liver transplantatio n are discussed.
