Abstract
Florid reactive mesenchymal proliferation describes a benign soft tiss ue tumour found in the hand as well as at other sites. The histologica l appearance and rapid growth of the lesion may lead to an incorrect d iagnosis of malignancy. We describe a case in a 79-year-old lady, unus ual because of her age at presentation and long history, and review th e literature.
