Abstract
Three new anthraquinones, 2-ethoxymethylknoxiavaledin, 2-formylknoxiav aledin and 2-hydroxymethylknoxiavaledin, together with seven known ant hraquinones, were isolated from Knoxia valerianoides, and their struct ures were determined by spectral analysis and chemical transformation.
