Abstract
The radiation stability of complexes with 15-crown-5 and alkaline eart h metal chlorides has been investigated by EPR spectroscopy and gas ch romatography; the resistance of the complexes to rupture of the ring i s determined by the energy of the interaction between the cation and t he polyether and energy transfer from the metal to the organic ligand was noted.
