Two methods exist for analyzing the reactivity state of a research rea
ctor, namely, the static and the dynamic method In the present work th
e dynamic method is applied to the TRIGA Mark-II reactor, Vienna, by u
sing the improved integral method and a new integral method with a com
panion function. Both methods are used to analyze and calculate the ne
gative reactivity of the reactor, taking into account the six groups o
f delayed neutrons. The differences of the methods are discussed, and
the systematic error is estimated.
