Abstract
The effect of pressure on the luminescence of porous Si has been consi dered. We observe a blue shift in the luminescence peak position up to approximately 25 kbar followed by a red shift above 25 kbar. We inter pret our results in the context of a pressure-induced direct-indirect transition in porous Si.
