Abstract
The Monte Carlo method is used to place dopants in the garnet lattice and simulate the non-radiative energy transfer process from donors to acceptors. Two different simulation results are reported, for the Fors ter and Dexter random distribution assumptions and for non-random plac ement of dopants.
