Abstract
Appendix vermiformis duplex is a rare phenomenon. A case of a double a ppendix with one caecum and inflammation of one of the appendices is p resented. The unusual presentations of the anomaly can cause diagnosti c dilemmas. Awareness of a duplication is important, as failure to rec ognise the condition may lead to clinical problems and possible litiga tion.
