ON THE CENOLOGY OF CONIOSELINUM-TATARICUM HOFFM IN SLOVAKIA

Based on published and unpublished data, herbarium specimens and field research, cenological characterization of species Conioselinum tatari cum HOFFM, is provided along with some new data on its distribution in Slovakia. Occurrence of abundant and viable populations of this speci es is positively correlated with the occurrence of association Aspleni o-Cystopteridetum fragilis OBERD. (1936) 1949 and within this syntaxon , a well-defined variant with Conioselinum tataricum may be distinguis hed (Table 1). With considerable variation in abundance values, this s pecies penetrates also montane tall-grass and tall-forb communities or even other communities (Releves 1 - 5). It is also recommended to dem ote the conservation status of this species from CI to CII category ac cording to MAGLOCKY (1983).
