Abstract
On the basis of a best fit model, containing all subharmonics of a sol ar day, with variable amplitudes and generalized phases, the character istics of the prevailing wind, tides and the quasi-2-day variations ov er Bulgaria for the time interval January 1991-June 1992 are obtained. An attempt is made to study the influence of the winter stratospheric warming on the tidal variability, The result obtained suggests an int eraction between tides and a planetary wave.
