Abstract
In order to test for differences between the nasal and the temporal ha lf of the central visual field (to 10 deg eccentricity), differential light threshold, visual acuity, and vernier acuity were tested within this area. Neither method showed significant differences between nasal and temporal visual field in the mean values of all subjects. However , in some subjects, average visual field differences of 1 dB were foun d.
