Abstract
Trimeresurus bite is a serious medical problem in Asia. However, at pr esent only a few monospecific Trimeresurus antivenoms are available. I nvestigation of the cross-neutralization capacity of three Trimeresuru s antivenoms indicates that the antivenoms exhibit broad cross-reactiv ity. A polyvalent Trimeresurus antivenom was also found to be effectiv e in neutralization of the haemorrhagic, necrotizing and thrombin-like activities of heterologous Trimeresurus venoms.
