Abstract
Seventy-five percent of students will change their majors at least onc e before they graduate Nearly 32% of changes in majors, according to s tudies in 1976 and 1980, took place during the junior year, 13% in the senior year. This change in academic emphasis raises questions about program changes and what they indicate about the student, the program, and the institution.
