Abstract
The mobility formula recently derived by us has been applied to pure n on-polar semiconductors and detailed mobility calculations have been c arried out for Ge. The optic deformation potential and acoustic phonon scatterings together give a value of mu = 0.43 x 10(4) cm(2) V-1 s(-1 ) at room temperature which agrees reasonably with experiment.
