Abstract
The kappa-deformation of the D-dimensional Poincare algebra (D greater -than-or-equal-to 2) with any signature is given. Further the quadrati c Poisson brackets, determined by the classical r-matrix are calculate d, and a construction of the quantum Poincare group ''with noncommutin g parameters'' is proposed.
