Abstract
The larval development of the porcellanid crab Clastotoechus vanderhor sti (Schmitt, 1924) was studied under laboratory conditions. The devel opment comprises a prezoea, two zoeal stages and a megalopa. The morph ologic characters in these larvae are similar to those of the previous ly described larvae of the Petrolisthes-type, establishing C vanderhor sti-as a member of the Petrolisthes-group of porcellanid larvae.
