Abstract
Gene II of human rotaviruses with short electropherotype, independentl y obtained from infected children in Argentina, have an insertion of 1 48 nt in the 3 ' untranslated region. All viruses were highly homologo us among them and with two others human strains, DS-1 and RV5.
