Abstract
A variety of specialized devices have been developed to aid the operat ion of an unattended observatory. We describe here a precipitation mon itor and two types of cloud monitors. One cloud monitor uses a small t elescope and CCD to continuously measure the brightness of Polaris. Ot her devices described include a simple altitude limit switch, an autom ated mirror cover, and a liquid nitrogen autofill system.
