Abstract
Dynamic simulation is a valuable tool of our Advanced Controls Technol ogy group. We perform dynamic simulations for the following purposes: control strategy development and demonstration, comparison of alternat ive control strategies, improved process understanding, operator train ing and safety system analysis. This paper presents a brief descriptio n of our dynamic simulation tools and industrial case studies in which these tools were an integral part of the engineering analysis and sol utions obtained.
