Abstract
Percent adult parasitoids emerging from mummies of Aphelimus asychis W alker (Hymenoptera: Aphelinidae) held at a temperature of 4.4-degrees- C for varying lengths of time depended on the age of the mummies and t he length of time they were held in cold storage. Lengths of time in s torage were 3, 5, 7 and 14 days. These storage periods were used to ac commodate commonly encountered periods of delay in a shipping operatio n. Mummy ages (days after mummy formation) were 3, 7 and 10 days. Thre e-day old mummies stored for 3 days showed the best survival, and 10-d ay old mummies stored for 14 days showed the poorest survival.
