Abstract
Three families of insecticides, (Formamadine-Carzol(R), Organophosphat e-Monitor(R), Organochlorine-Thiodan(R)) were evaluated to determine t he dosage/mortality effects on five colonies of Anaphes iole collected from Imperial Valley, CA; Homedale, ID; Delta, UT; San Joaquin Valley , CA and a laboratory colony. The laboratory colony had been in cultur e for about five years and was used as a control. The San Joaquin colo ny was collected from a high insecticide use area, and was resistant a t some level to all chemicals tested.
