Abstract
A routine sampling during a recent study of populations of bacteria as sociated with penaeid larvae showed that the antibiotics given as a pr eventive during the hatching were used at sub-inhibitory doses (sub-MI C). The author tries to throw light on this experimental result by a b ibliographic scanning of the effects of subinhibitory concentrations o f antibiotics.
