Abstract
Preliminary results are reported for the density and charge density pr ofiles of a charged colloidal suspension in sedimentation equilibrium. Calculations are based on a simple free energy functional, which incl udes excluded volume and Coulomb contributions. The suspension is show n to behave like a condenser.
