HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL NUCLEID ANALOGS

Synthetic polymers having pendant nucleic acid bases were prepared by polymer design techniques. After thorough investigations on their chem ical and physico-chemical properties, further studies on their applica bility were done, and in particular, the analogs as photoresists, the analogs for high performance liquid chromatography, and the analogs ap plicable in the field of polymeric pharmaceuticals were shown.
