Abstract
Four different broth media were tested to determine the optimum growth of aflatoxin producing isolate of Aspergillus Flavus VIPN11, of them Yeast Extract Glucose Broth (YEGB) showed maximum growth. The pH, temp erature, inoculum size and incubation period were also determined for the optimum growth of the isolate which appeared to be 4.5, 28 degrees C, 5.6 x 10(9) spores/ml and 9 days, respectively.
