S. Lohani et al., STUDIES ON THE OPTIMUM CULTURAL CONDITIONS REQUIRED FOR THE GROWTH OFASPERGILLUS-FLAVUS VIPN11 ISOLATED FROM OILSEEDS, Bangladesh journal of botany, 23(1), 1994, pp. 27-31
Four different broth media were tested to determine the optimum growth
of aflatoxin producing isolate of Aspergillus Flavus VIPN11, of them
Yeast Extract Glucose Broth (YEGB) showed maximum growth. The pH, temp
erature, inoculum size and incubation period were also determined for
the optimum growth of the isolate which appeared to be 4.5, 28 degrees
C, 5.6 x 10(9) spores/ml and 9 days, respectively.
