Abstract
We developed a set of blue, green, and red band-pass film filters and UV and IR filters fabricated using esters of cellulose and hydrophobic organic dyes. Used as the data base for theoretical calculations of o ptical filters were the spectral characteristics of about 250 studied hydrophobic dyes. Filters were fabricated by pouring a colored polymer ic composition onto a framed glass substrate.
