Abstract
The partial pressures of vapors in several ternary systems based on so dium amalgam are considered. The vapor pressures are determined experi mentally and calculated from the thermodynamic data on the activities of the components. The choice of the third component of the amalgam (T l, In, K, Rb, Cs) for use as an emission source in the gas-discharge l amp is substantiated.
