Abstract
The effect of Cl- and SO42- ions on the kinetics of anodic oxidation o f the rotating aluminum electrode in alkali has been studied by the po tentiometric method. The mechanism of dissolution of aluminum in alkal i and alkali-salt media in the passive region was presumed to be gener al in principle.
