Abstract
Data on the synthesis of a new wide-temperature-range vanadium catalys t for oxidation of sulfur dioxide are given. The effects of various al kaline promotors and parameters of the synthesis upon the performance of the samples, including their activity, reliability, and operating s tability, are shown. The results obtained evidence good operational pr operties of the catalyst developed.
