Abstract
Gallium iron garnet and its Al3+-substituted derivatives have been pre pared and sintered under oxygen pressure. On these materials, measurem ents were taken of infrared spectra, X-ray diffraction analysis, diffe rential thermal analysis and the temperature dependence of d.c. electr ical conductivity. The results obtained are explained, interpreted, co mpared and discussed in detail on the basis of structural conformation and the conduction mechanism prevailing.
