Abstract
We investigate the effect of fluctuations in the effective Hamiltonian that describes the microphase separation in random copolymers. This H amiltonian is previously studied on the level of mean-field theory whe re a phase transition to a phase with periodic microdomain structure w as predicted. It is shown hem that the one-loop treatment of fluctuati ons is exact in the thermodynamic limit and that the phase predicted b y mean field is unstable within the framework of the studied Hamiltoni an.
