P. Bhanumathi et al., MODIFICATION OF ADRIAMYCINE CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE INDUCED IMMUNE SUPPRESSION BY AN AMINOTHIOL/, Biochemical archives, 10(2), 1994, pp. 111-116
Cancer chemotherapeutic drugs are toxic to normal tissues and this tox
icity is a limiting factor in the usage of higher doses. Another drwba
ck of antineoplastic agents is their immunosuppressing nature. In the
present study an aminothiol WR-1065 showed an antagonistic action agai
nst the immunosuppressent nature of two commonly used anticancer drugs
, cyclophosphamide and adriamycine.
