Abstract
3-Methylthio-5-oxo-2,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazine reacted with substitued benzene sulfochloride, to give 3-methylthio-4-substituted benzene sulf onyl-5-oxo-6-hydroxy-1,4, 5,6-tetrahydro-1,2,4-triazine in the solutio n of NaOH-H2O-CH3COCH3; to give -oxo-6-methyloxy-1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-1, 2,4-triazine in the solution of NaOH-CH3OH. The series of reaction sho w a anomalous properties of electrophilic addition in 6-carbon of the 1,2,4-triazine ring.
