HIGHER VECTOR-MESON STATES PRODUCED IN ELECTRON-POSITRON ANNIHILATION

A summary is presented of analyses of e+e- annihilation data, some of which have been previously published and some of which are new. The ob ject of these analyses is to establish the existence and decay modes o f vector mesons which couple strongly to e+e-. The systematic informat ion so obtained is used to check th obvious hypothesis that this set o f vector mesons forms ideally mixed nonets of qqBAR states. This hypot hesis does not appear to be tenable, and mixing with additional non-qq BAR states appears to be required.
