Abstract
Other researchers have employed complex image theory to rapidly evalua te spatial-domain Green's functions in layered media. While workable i n instances where the source lies within or at the interface of an unb ounded region, the more general methodology given for a source embedde d in a dielectric layer is incorrect. This paper explains the nature o f the error and how it can be corrected.
