ANALYSIS OF WIDE INCLINED SLOT-COUPLED NARROW WALL COUPLER BETWEEN DISSIMILAR RECTANGULAR WAVE-GUIDES

Analysis of a waveguide coupler coupled through a wide inclined slot i n the common narrow wall of a rectangular waveguide for high power app lications is presented. A simplified technique to find the internal sc attered magnetic field due to this wide inclined slot has been used. B oth variational method and method of moments using entire domain basis functions and Galerkin's technique have been used in finding out the S parameters of the four port coupler. The experimental results have s hown good agreement with the corresponding theoretical results.
