Abstract
Heat-resistant barium hexaaluminate combustion catalyst was prepared b y a conventional solid-state reaction combined with sub-micron grindin g. The barium hexaaluminate thus prepared retained almost the same hig h surface area at high temperatures as the one prepared by the alkoxid e method, exhibiting high activity in the catalytic combustion of meth ane.
