Abstract
A grazing incidence optical parametric oscillator (GIOPO) based on a b eta-BaB2O4 crystal and pumped by the third harmonic of a Nd:YAG-laser has been studied. A novel technique was developed to stabilize and sca n this device. SLM operation and a large scan range have been demonstr ated over an OPO-signal range of 460-630 nm. The operational character istics of this OPO with two different gratings and pumped by two types of pump lasers are compared.
