Bovine enterotoxaemia is a syndrome generally associated with C. perfr
ingens although that is not a well definite pathology at this time. In
spite of the relative few cases reported, we can describe the princip
al faetures of epizootology, clinical finding and necropsy pictures as
sociated with the different C. perfringens toxinotypes. The main failu
res of these reports are the absence of intestinal C. perfringens coun
t and the few strains toxinotyped for each case.
