Abstract
In the framework of the heavy-quark effective theory, the O(LAMBDABAR/ m(c)) (LAMBDABAR congruent-to O(LAMBDA(QCD))) corrections are estimate d in the test of factorization hypothesis for B-meson nonleptonic deca ys proposed by Bjorken. Similar calculations are also carried out for LAMBDA(b) nonleptonic decays. The effects of these corrections on the estimate of the D(s)-meson decay constant are discussed.
