Abstract
Fischer carbene complexes undergo mild insertion reactions with organo silanes to give methoxysilanes in good yields. The effects of catalyst s, solvents, and metals have been investigated. The insertion reaction s of alkenyl carbene complexes provide a convenient route for the synt hesis of allylsilanes.
